There’s also a checkbox in Invigorator that allows you to use composition lights. I think it’s right next to to the ‘use comp camera’ checkbox. Don’t make the mistake of turning on the 3D switch for the invig layer, as this mucks things up.
Invig doesn’t support depth of field, as far as I know, so if you want this AE camera feature you may be out of luck.

You can’t simply burn the file to a dvd. This makes a dvd-rom and not a watchable dvd. Even if you make the file an mpeg-2, it won’t work.
Go to file, export, export to dvd and follow the instructions.

This could also just be a difference between the speakers on your computer and on your tv. Try adjusting the treble on your tv if there is an option to do this. Or listen to the track in premiere with headphones and if you still perceive a hiss you could take your audio into Audition or Soundbooth (if you have ’em) and do some noise reduction, or just lower the treble in Premiere.

What do you mean by more smoothly? With a gradual acceleration at the start of the movement and a steady deceleration at the end? You may want to try easy ease keyframes (check your help file). You may also find Aharon’s podcast tutorial on roving keyframes useful:

I have no idea! Never happened to me before, but let me describe the steps I would go through to do this and see if you spot anything you’ve not done.
1 – select the text tool
2 – click in the comp panel and type the text
3 – hit V to get the selection tool back
4 – place the current time indicator to where I want the text to disappear and hit alt+] to trim it to that time.
5 – hit ctrl+D to duplicate the layer
6 – select the duplicate layer
7 – hit page down and then [ to move the in point of the duplicate to the frame after the end point of the original
8 – select the text tool again
9 – click on the duplicate text layer in the comp panel and change the text.And you’re done.

“You can copy keyframes from only one layer at a time. When you paste keyframes into another layer, they appear in the corresponding property in the destination layer. The earliest keyframe appears at the current time, and the other keyframes follow in relative order. The keyframes remain selected after pasting, so you can immediately move them in the destination layer.”

You can save your AI file without a background layer. Or I believe you can import your AI file as layers – then you could get rid of the background layer in AE.

It just takes time for things to render. Some effects are render heavy, such as match grain and fractal noise, and compositions with multiple video layers always take longer. It’s just a case of time management – start rendering before you head out for lunch, or, if you have lots to render, do it overnight.
If you want to keep working while you render, you could search for a scritp I’ve seen somewhere that allows you to render in the background.

Maybe you could say up a playlist, include in that playlist timelines 2 & 3, and then replace your menu link to timeline 2 with a link to the playlist. Set the end action for the playlist to the menu.
