Videocopilot.net has a beginners tutorial section, and Aharon’s AE podcast here at the Cow often deals with basic concepts (and deals with less difficult concepts in a way beginners can follow).

Also try Adobe TV they also have a lot of great professional tuts that really will set your work apart, not only that, they will help you integrate the entire CS3 so that you can get the most out of your video.

honestly the best bet is to buy the books (written by the professional users not adobe). There is alot of information in those that cannot be covered in a tutorial and it will also start making you think out of the box rather than working on something that someone has already done. This way when you think of an effect you want to do, you will have such a knowledge of the program and visual effects that you will be able to logically think of a way to create that effect without fishing through the internet for a tutorial or blog on the subject. But it is always good to do research.

    Just a thought

    Hope this helps

Sorry it took me so long to respond but try out After Effects CS3 Studio techniques. It looks like is could be cool. Also try Photoshop for video by Richard Harrington. Thats all I can think of at this moment but I am sure there are a lot more.

    Hope this helps:)
