Ah ok. I had dvi out to an lcd so took it the BM output would be fine on a macpro.

I could suggest you get an HDMI> component box.. this will split the audio from video for you.

With an h.264 clip I was messing with yes. Its normally like that all the time.. doesn’t switch.. tiz funny.

Isn’t this the whole quicktime/fcp trying to be clever issue? showing you a preview of how it will look on a tv rather than a computer display?

It’s adjusting the gamma between 2.2 and 1.8. It’s not effecting the files. So if you playout via AJA or blackmagic.. or export as whatever file format they will not be effected.

Not sure how this effects Color as not tested to much yet.

1st the msg saying it’s running under speed. Where is this msg?

I think it means the card is not using the full speed of that lane/slot not the card not running full speed.
it need 4x and the lane is 8.. so thats why you get it.

A basic macpro setup has in the expansion slot utility option 2 selected and the cards inserted as below

4- raidcard
3- aja/blackmagic
2-nothing
1 -gfx card

it’s a feature? then you should have a budget good enough to get a audio sync slipper like alot of AV guys use on their av amps.

I believe your issue has been addressed. the clock for the intensity audio out is not the same as the audio out internally on the mac.

I’d make double sure its a clock issue before spending more $$…

we bought a component to hdmi converter to use to capture component via intensity.. no go..

you could always try and work out the slip and slip the audio ?
