All media outside FCP-X Library.

FCP-X Library also on Promise

Mount Promise using NFS to open up the libraries required. Quit FCPX
Unmount NFS and mount via AFP

ReOpen FCP-X ( libraries still open )

edit away…

If am grading EXR or coming with DPX its always over AFP.

Just the 2. iMac + Pegasus using FCP7 or X or AE

imac 2 via GigE on fcp-X

1 or 2 layers max.

Editing off a Pegasus raid over 1GigE in fcp7 and fcp-x Just fine here.

Select the source timeline and export XML

Switch to destination project

Import XML you just exported ( tick import media if its not in this projects media pool )

Use ColorTrace

I’m talking abut the actual UI viewer above the magnetic timeline..

well actually no image on any monitor..

When prefs widow didn’t work suspected bad install.

Update on app store was about 4 seconds which seemed off to me.
