I think that’s true of all software, even plugins. ☺ Show stopping bugs can linger for long periods of time if they don’t affect a large number of users, or if it’s hard to invoke the offending behavior – these bugs can sometimes get less priority than minor UI tweaks. The other side of the coin is that, if the host application breaks the plugin and the provider doesn’t consider a fix a major priority, then the plugin developer might be stuck.

What Walter, said. Effects like this are more about building the look up from a number of unique qualities, than finding a single, uber plugin that can create the effect for you. Andrew Kramer from Video Copilot does a good job of explaining this concept and walking through his thought process, as he goes through many of his tutorials. Your question brought this one to mind.

NVIDIA® Quadro® M4000 (8 GB)
NVIDIA® Quadro® M5000 (8 GB)
NVIDIA® Quadro® K6000 (12 GB)I dont have an idea on pricing and I am sure the K6000 is above my price range.
Its mostly for Maya and Renderman.
Ive posted similiar questions on Max/Maya and no reply.

You probably won’t see much of a difference in performance from the K5200 to the K6000… unless I’ve missed something and Renderman now supports GPU preview or rendering. Otherwise, the CUDA core count, amount of VRAM over 4GB, bus speed etc. won’t really matter that much.

Thats a no brainer but IMHO that doesnt equate to buying a low cost DIY PC.
I just dont trust having to build one.
If I had that much time, then I guess Im not writing, shooting, creating and producing anything worthwhile to me.
This field is hard enough on time as it is, why bash your brain against a wall trying to find a low cost power supply :P”
What if a low cost, DIY machine rendered your animations out 20% faster? That seems like a pretty good cost savings over the life of that computer. ☺

Is an $80,000.00 Sony F900 with an $80,000.00 Canon lens really better than an Alexa Mini with a $9,000.00 Leica cinema lens? Sometimes, cheaper really is better.☺

Doesn’t this support Andrew’s point though? A PC user could say that Adobe is wasting time and resources supporting Metal instead of fixing “important” cross platform bugs. ☺

I didn’t know that Roku supports Amazon Music and Video. This alone makes it very attractive to me. I only have a few shows that I watch on Amazon, but I like the idea of having Netflix, Hulu and my Amazon libraries on the same device.

We also get to share our account legally with five people, so we have our kids, Tim Wilson, and one other person who have access. Now *that* is cool. Not all of our movies and TV shows are available in the share function — such as Disney, who refuses to let them be shared — but most are.
When we are traveling, we use Flixster Video because it supports UltraViolet and allows you to download and play SD movies on your phone and tablet — and if you remember to bring your $39 Chromecast and plug it into the hotel TV’s USB port, you can cast your programs onto the TV. VUDU for HD and 4K, Flixster Video for when you’re traveling and need lower bandwidth SD.”

Wow, I had no idea. I guess I just assumed that the experience would be consistent across devices. I understand your frustration!
