Since I own the hardware, I might have to try this. But that means going to DR15, but I’m mid project, so I’ll wait for that to be over…

Yes. And the best options are hardware based…Alchemist, Terranex. This would mean routing the signal out of one computer, thru one of these devices, and into another, if you have files. If you have tape, then connecting the deck to those devices as you capture will get the result you want.
Software options include Adobe After Effects…Instant HD by Redgiant. Those are OK, but not as good as hardware converters.

Adobe still supports MOV…it’s REFERENCE movies that it now is not working with. I export SAME AS SOURCE and take that large file into Encoder.

There are two types of MXF files…OP Atom, which is known as “Avid media” where it’s separate video and audio that goes into the specific Avid file structure. And there’s OP1a, which is a wrapper that has both video and audio, and won’t work in Avid’s file structure, but will need to be AMA linked. I will hazard a guess to say they are the OP1a type, but don’t like to assume.
Who transcoded these, with what, and to what codec? How will this show be finished/onlined?
