What kind of delay are we talking about? How many frames? Does the delay vary by the type of input you are using?

I’m not mixing 8 bit and 10 bit. I’m only mixing DV and 8 bit. The only caveat on DV is…

“Mixing DV and uncompressed video
When mixing DV and uncompressed video on the same timeline be sure to use the Reverse Field Dominance option on the appropriate clips so that the effect, filter or transition is rendered correctly.”

What I’m seeing is the SDI out disappear at an edit point.

In an NTSC 4×3 10 bit project….

Cutting from a 10 bit clip to DV clip is fine!
Cutting from an 8 bit clip to DV craps out at the edit point.

I improved stability by setting the windows sound drivers to anything but decklink (NVIDIA onboard audio in my case), and toggling the “use default devices only”.

I have other problems on HD pro card, cutting to DV from 8 bit clips (NTSC) causes a glitch on the sdi output during playback or scrubbing. SD plus card seems fine.
