In NTSC I have to apply a motion effect to every DV clip and move it up 1 line to correct the problem and render it all. I’ve been working around it so long I’ll have to retrain all my editors if they actually fix it.

I select one DV clip on the timeline, shift it up a line in the motion settings and copy the attributes to all the dv clips on the timeline.

I don’t know why they can’t build this in.

I’m having the same problems as you with the 15 to 20 crashes a day on complex stuff, it is so embarrasing to have clients ask if you should “upgrade” when you are up to date. I don’t care if Adobe releases a 64 bit version, I just want the 32 bit version more stable.

The only workaround I’ve found is turning all graphic accelleration off for the NVidia card.

That STILL doesn’t give me source viewer output on the Black Magic card, only on the desktop. C’mon BM I can’t be alone on this.

I’m also having problems with looping menus. The computer and one old Koss player are fine, but a newer Philips and Koss players stopped after one play.

We finally rebuilt the whole DVD from scratch (a complicated project to) and then it was fine.

It seems like something was corrupted in the menu somehow but I don’t know what. We tried every setting we could think of.

It seems to fix the problems with renders not updating on the timeline in Premiere Pro 2.0

    Hi

I sent files on March 30th to Luke and in early March to Andrew. I’ll find them and send them again to you.

This softness happens in Premier Pro 2.0 not 1.5, in NTSC only, on Decklink SD Plus, and HD 4:2:2 boards (perhaps others).

The problem exists for ANY 480 line content (eg DV) placed on a 486 like 8 or 10 bit job. It loses vertical resolution when it is RENDERED like it is being rescaled.
