September 26, 2005 at 7:31 pm in reply to: COW Articles: COW Podcast Creative Cowcast launches with host, Franklin McMahonRon, I’m afraid I may have offended you. I apologize. You’ve worked miracles in the dissemination of knowledge for us creative professionals. I’m thrilled that the Cow is venturing into this great medium of podcasts. With my review this evening I plan on listing the pros and cons. I just quickly typed my immediate viewpoint and the viewpoint of the person who listened with me.
[Ron Lindeboom] “Are you a PC user? I suspect so.”
I’m a Mac user through and through. I love iPods too.[Ron Lindeboom] “I found the interview and business tips section with Andy Stinton quite enlightening.”
Me too![Ron Lindeboom] “There was not one ad in the whole show.”
I guess this depends on what you and I term to be an ad. I’m looking at it from the standpoint that an ad is a public promotion of some product or service. Please note: I know products are intregal to our industry[Ron Lindeboom] “There was no sponsoring of the show whatsoever.”
Perhaps “endorsing” would have been a better suited word. -

September 23, 2005 at 6:45 pm in reply to: how would one recreate the osx dock scale effect in aftereffectsI saw a script somewhere around here that changed the scale of an object depending on how close it was to another object. Sorry to not be more helpful than that but it might get you heading in the right direction.

Amazing quality for the size of file. And it is one of the easiest workflows for posting to the web. You can download the free trial and test it out for yourself at macromedia.com

The answer is in your Adobe Illustrator manual.

An alternative would be to render an image sequence then use photoshop file>automate>contact sheet to pull all those stills into a index page.
