Thanks for the podcast. I’m sure they’ll only improve from here on out.

I’ll try to get you a full review tonight when I have some more time, but overall this podcast felt a lot more like the front page of this website

Ron, I’m afraid I may have offended you. I apologize. You’ve worked miracles in the dissemination of knowledge for us creative professionals. I’m thrilled that the Cow is venturing into this great medium of podcasts. With my review this evening I plan on listing the pros and cons. I just quickly typed my immediate viewpoint and the viewpoint of the person who listened with me.

[Ron Lindeboom] “Are you a PC user? I suspect so.”
I’m a Mac user through and through. I love iPods too.

[Ron Lindeboom] “I found the interview and business tips section with Andy Stinton quite enlightening.”
    Me too!

[Ron Lindeboom] “There was not one ad in the whole show.”
I guess this depends on what you and I term to be an ad. I’m looking at it from the standpoint that an ad is a public promotion of some product or service. Please note: I know products are intregal to our industry

[Ron Lindeboom] “There was no sponsoring of the show whatsoever.”
Perhaps “endorsing” would have been a better suited word.

    Hi Seth,

The endorsements were strictly those of the participants. We never tell people what to like or not.

Having been the managing editor of a daily newspaper for a time during my career, I have learned that “journalistic integrity” and “journalistic neutrality” are simply legends or the self-deluded imaginations of journalists. Me, I saw far too many truly important stories get left on the wire and never added to the day’s paper as publishers were afraid to publish them — either for fear of retribution from special interest groups or from harassment from public officials.

Because of this experience, I do not even try to tell our leaders what to like or not like; there is no official Cow policy and Franklin’s opinions are his own — just as my own belong to me.

I suspect that we will never get the broadcasts into a neutral position as that would mean that we would have to ask people to quit being themselves, something we are hesitant to do.

Please do not misread me: I appreciate your feedback, I truly do. It is important to hear what people’s opinions are as they give us a window into things which we may not have seen on our own.

    Best regards,

    Ron Lindeboom

For future listeners – the first 15 minutes could be skipped. The interview is very worthwhile.

I liked the show. I learned about a new tool in one of the tech minute sequences and I thought the show was filled with information. Some of it seemed like gossip or chat but all in all, I liked it. I’ll keep my subscription.

Thanks for the feedback…keep the comments rolling on the new Podcast Forum:

The show will develop over time, I did some explaining a bit in the beginning. Kinda like the first Superman movie, you go through a lot of the beginning story before you get to the action! BUT..we’re done with that so now the focus is on content.

I like the segment concept, and want to involve more cow fans and leaders. Again over the next several episodes it’ll settle in as far as format, but we do want feedback on it, so let us know your thoughts!

    Franklin
