    Hi,

Adding to what Dave said you could use the following old project to give you an idea for the base.

    Looks like this:

  • Hi,

If you are talking about the last step (Division) then please have a look at this rough example:
    https://www.nyc-visual.com/cell.mov
If the look serves your purpose then let me know and I will look for the aep. I remember using the bulge effect to create the division.

    Salut,

    Hi,

I sold a load of Invigorator compatible 3D Objects to different stations including AEP… The AEPs are a good source of learning the tricks as I mostly create all maps within AE.

    Hi,

It’s sounds to me that you should use a Particle Generator (Foam, P.Playground, Trapcode Particullar)
with your “fairies” as a custom particle.

    Hi,
It all depends on your needs.

Make a better search and you will find more recent threads about this topic.

    Hi Zac,

It’s easy to create the shape of a football in Invigorator. A simple tiny circle (Like the one used to create a sphere) with the “Shallow Half Pipe” edge will get you there. Adding a couple of outlined closed paths will get you the laces. The difficult part to sell realism is to create the textures.
You must have the patience to paint your bump maps, transparency maps for the holes… If you are not patient then buying the map on the net would be an option.

    Salut.

You are using the wrong version of AE! Version 5,0 & 5.5 had no Text Tool.
    Don’t work too hard!

    Hi,

Render using a codec that supports an Alpha Channel like QT Animation set to millions of colors +
If I am not wrong my wife used to choose Invert Alpha in our Avid symphony.

    Hi,

I would suggest you to create a 3D football in Invigorator or in a 3D program.
Here is an example of an Invigorator “only” football that is a part of a series of objects I am working on:

    Salut.
