Lens Blur as well as all Tinderbox plugs work fine for me on PC with AE 7. Try reinstalling.

Hi Steve,

Here is what you could do:

-After applying Foam, set the Production Rate to (0.010) and leave your Producer Point at the default position for now.

-Scrub your timeline until you see your first bubble.

-Set an initial KF for the Production Rate then move to the next frame and set the rate to (0.00) This will keep foam from creating more bubbles.

-Set the Lifespan to max.

-Now scrub your timeline until you see that your bubble almost leaves the comp window.

-In the Physics menu, set both Wind Speed and Turbulence to (0.00)

-Pressing Ctrl for fine control, adjust the Initial Speed & Direction parameters to place your bubble exactly over the Producer point.

Now, you have only one bubble that you can control by animating the producer point as you like.

If you want to follow Jonathan’s method, and you are not skilled at PS. You could simply save a frame of a Foam bubble with Alpha and follow his tip. You could also go to https://www.nyc-visual.com and download an example named Bubble Distortion.

Hi,

Here is a classic method:

-Draw a path on a solid in AE using the pen tool or better if you have Illustrator use the spiral tool then copy/paste your path to a solid in AE.

-Apply Path Text to your solid
-Select your path as a custom path in the path options menu.
-Animate the size of your text as well as the left margin.

Kazden, 2 ways to do so: You apply a regular drop shadow effect or you use a plane inside Invigorator and use Invigorator lights.
Another way would be to indeed switch the Invigorator layer to 3D and use AE lights. Depending on your animation this could work, especially if you set the layer to always face the camera and animate the set to compensate some camera moves.
