    Hi Julian06,

I would use a 3D program to create a realistic pumpkin, as Invigorator can’t yet deform an object. However, if you are not after realism. Here is simple project for you:

    Looks like this:

    Hi Jim,

I am afraid your version is way too old to work properly with AE 7.

    Salut.

    Hi Ton,

The prefs file is located in the folder named “Zaxwerks”. Have your serial handy as you would need it when you would reopen your project.

I will let you know how your project works for me once I receive it.

    Salut.

This sounds strange. What version of Invigorator are you using? Did you try trashing the Invigorator prefs?

If you want you could send me your project at serge_01 at msn dot com. No need to include the media files.

I will get back to you in the morning.

    Salut.

    Hey Jon,

It’s great that you made a tutorial about this.

I use myself the very same method for AE and Invigorator. I have to explain it many times to co-workers. Now I can just link them to your tut. He He! Thanks buddy:-)

    Salut.

    Hey dude,

    Here are the steps:

    – Make sure your create a square pixel comp.Very important!
    – When importing your ai file make also sure that the “Move Object to Center” box is checked.
    – In the scene preview windown switch to camera mode and choose “Front” from the view menu. Don’t alter the position of your object/set or it wont be centered anymore.
    – Create a camera layer and switch off the Auto Orientation.
    – Create your 3D solid layer.
    – Now check the Use Comp Camera for Invigorator.
    – If you want you could tie the Set rotation parameters with an expression to your solid layer as I did in my example. I just like to work this way.

As I already said you could send me your aep so I can pinpoint the trouble in case you still have problems.

Let us know how it goes.

    Salut my friend.
