May 8, 2014 at 9:49 am in reply to: Fake clothing spinning inside a washing machine (an image)Bah! Why are you guys like belittle the power of After Effects? It’s a great tool and almost every fx are unequivocally not impossible to be done. All I wanted to know is achieving the fx entirely on AE and not purchasing pricey stock footage, mind you, I don’t own a credit/debit card and I’m not from the States. I’m really mindful of originality and work practically, not too fast jumping into the beeline to solve my problem. If you don’t mind, can you tell me again what fx needed?
@Dave LaRonde – Doesn’t matter.

January 7, 2014 at 3:59 am in reply to: How to remove excess nodes created with the Pen Tool WITHOUT affecting the animation (mask path) of previous frames?No, for this task I didn’t use rotoscope. I’m sure because I didn’t press the roto button on top.
I said that the whole masking around the glasses I used pen tool, and when I delete excess nodes/points made with the Pen Tool, doing this also deletes the nodes you made before. So how to overcome this?
Or sir, did you mean that you cannot delete and the only way is to use rotoscoping? I’m confused. ty -

The fx didn’t cross my mind at all until you tell me. Oh yeah Mr Dave I also apply some dust to it upon impact from the asteroid and also put a free sound fx – explosion. thanks all

December 12, 2013 at 3:38 pm in reply to: Is there really a difference the Resolution settings on the comp viewer and the one on the Preview panel?Oh I’m clear about that now. Res in Preview Panel for render depending on the quality you’ve set but Res in Comp Viewer is the quality of how you see things in the comp viewer. got it! thanks!

May 25, 2013 at 7:43 am in reply to: How to make this kind of light streaks? (see video)Hmm… I don’t think that is a light leak even in the slightest degree because light leak refers to the yellowish or orangish or reddish light shone on the camera lens (not lens flare). I’ve Googled light leak for tutorial like you said but that isn’t what I want. I want the effect like in the music video. that kind of sharp and crisp thin light. any idea? :/

April 12, 2013 at 5:34 am in reply to: How to make the animation/motion graphic: three different texts coalesce forming one big text of different word?alright. without a murmur, here you go:
Font: Times New Roman (as a specimen, need not be intricate)
Font Size: 70
Stroke: none
The 3 texts: A, B, C
Final text fused DSir, no offense but why can’t you just use any font and size for the demonstration. The big picture is that I want to see + learn how this is done but in the back of your mind, you’re reluctant and insisting on wanting to know the sizes, texts, etc. I don’t mind.. I guess you thought that I might steal your hardwork and put it up as mine, right? No! I won’t because I wouldn’t learn through that. I will use your .aep demo as a referral only so worry not.
P.S. I didn’t know people in this forum are kinda harsh sometimes. Never been into a forum with this trait.Everybody wants to be an excellent movie maker. But it takes one to help the poor. That’s the name of the game.
