Hi, I encoded into mpeg4 from h.264, they seem to miraculously appear once I’ve closed down avid and reopen it.

When you say, copy the subclips do you mean consolidate in Avid speak?

It says I can’t reveal file for subclips, the bin column is saying its still AVC Long GOP, would this be because I still have the original, not transcoded files in another bin aswell?

Hi, How do I know when the subclips are relinked, I’ve transcoded the clips that i’d made subclips from, I’ve relinked the subclips, but i’m not sure if i’m choosing the right relink options.

With some of the footage i’m using the link to media box is greyed out and import doesn’t work either, it gives me an error, in this instance conversion before using avid is necessary I presume? Apologies, the numerous operations and terminology can get confusing for me.
