Source Browser not seeing files
When I use handbrake to encode a file and I put it in a folder in my external Hard drive that my project in Media Composer is accessing, when I go to search for that file in my source browser in MC, it doesn’t appear on the external hard drive even though I can see it in my hard drive from my computer. Does anyone know what is going on here?

You encoded the file…to what format? What codec? Encoded from what?

Hi, I encoded into mpeg4 from h.264, they seem to miraculously appear once I’ve closed down avid and reopen it.
