I’m heavily invested in this system, if there were a way to port over all of my upgrades and cards and such that might be an option but starting from scratch isn’t financially feasible right now. Or if there is some kind of incremental upgrade possible to this existing system.

Timecode for this shot starts at approximately 1:00:30:00. If you listen to the audio I am speaking what the timecode should be.

Here is a screen shot from Premiere showing the clips from both recorders (camera and Odyssey).

If you need a copy of the matching ProRes file created by the Odyssey 7Q let me know.

Thanks, we can try updating the OS again. Last time it caused some problems so we reverted and never tried again. So we can give it another shot. We are experiencing some weirdnesses, maybe that will help.

I’ve installed and used it. Works fine. I was hoping for more feathered control of the zoom than with the on-board control, but it’s exactly the same. But all functions of the lens are now controllable from the camera.

I spoke with a Sony support rep who gave me a link. Works fine. However I can’t find the link, he must have given it to me on the phone. I’ve uploaded it here 6084_nexfs700v2.00win.zip

Hmm. I’m working in 7 & it happens constantly unfortunately. Maybe I’ll have better luck with X when it comes out. Have you ever experienced this glitch or know of any work arounds?

Forgot to mention, I shoot RED footage, have edited in PPro a lot and really like the way it handles the RED raw files.
