GE force GTX880 system compatibility
Anyone know if the upcoming NVidia GEforce GTX880 is compatible with my 2010 Mac Pro?

If it does it will be at reduced speed because of the PCI-E 3.0 spec. Haswell E X99 just released. Might be time to consider a new system if your looking for GPU acceleration performance increase.

I’m heavily invested in this system, if there were a way to port over all of my upgrades and cards and such that might be an option but starting from scratch isn’t financially feasible right now. Or if there is some kind of incremental upgrade possible to this existing system.
