Hi. Wondering if anyone has experienced this. Using cc 2014 on Mac Pro 10.7.5. I bring in mts files from a Sony FS700, recorded to an sd card and the media start for every clip is all zeros. I am simultaneously recording this footage to a Convergent Design Odyssey 7q and the timecode from it is normal for the same clips. When I return the FS700 SD card to the camera, the timecode is in fact on the clips. I can find no metadata display settings to resolve this. Ideas?

You shouldn’t be running CC 2014 on 10.7.5… minimum system requirement is Mac OS X v10.8. I’ve heard of a ton of problems with people trying to run 2014 on 10.7…

This might not solve your issue but will definitely save you from a headache down the line…

    Hi Scott,

I would be interested in getting a small sample file if you have one. We should be picking it up. You can upload to your CC account or another hosting site.

Thanks, we can try updating the OS again. Last time it caused some problems so we reverted and never tried again. So we can give it another shot. We are experiencing some weirdnesses, maybe that will help.

Thanks for your help Peter. Here’s one of the test clips.

    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2370062/00020.zip

Timecode for this shot starts at approximately 1:00:30:00. If you listen to the audio I am speaking what the timecode should be.

Here is a screen shot from Premiere showing the clips from both recorders (camera and Odyssey).

In the screen shot the third shot in the list is the one linked above.

If you need a copy of the matching ProRes file created by the Odyssey 7Q let me know.
