Thank you Angelo. That’s a fine suggestion. According to a response from the Adobe Community, multicam sequences have to be on the v1 track to work.

Thanks for the response and the name of what I am trying to do. Sometimes that is half the battle. Which forum would be appropriate for this post?

To Craig,
No, I usually do not copy the folders over using Clip Browser. Typically I copy and paste the BPAV folder into its own subfolder and do my conversions off that file. I’ve never had a problem before this.

So I solved my issue by returning to the SxS cards I originally shot on and converted off of that. I also copied the data over again and tried the transfer off the hard drive and had no issues. This is an odd an unsettling issue.

I’ve had very little luck with Manfrotto heads. They do not pan or tilt smoothly after a brief lock down. I can highly recommend the Sachtler 18 and Sachtler 20 heads as they are just the right size for the EX-1. It is a hefty head but with maintenance it will last for decades. When you start attaching rails and the Letus and matte box, the Sachtler 18 becomes a tad small, though still useable, but I then prefer a Sachtler 7+7 Studio II.

I’m talking to a codec expert right now in Austin Texas who says he is able to demux the MP4 file using a piece of hardware which he can then use to recombine into something useable. I’m still waiting to hear back from him (it’s only been a week) and when I do, I’ll be sure to pass this information along to you and this board. Sorry to hear you also had the same situation. I would love a prosumer grade answer to this problem since it’s very likely to happen again when you deal with uninitiated people. Thanks for the response and good company.
