I just encountered the same problem.
Looks like the audio is affected by setting the playback to p instead of iA slice of color…

The point is, I would like to avoid FCP in the delivery stage.
For me FCP is more an offline suite where my clients ask for DPX deliveries.
Hence I understand his request for a feature to use transition FX.
Not that I used them since the A-Team was hip.
And also Resolve is soooo much faster outputting ProRes in HD, it would be wonderful to use its speed for finals.A slice of color…

Regarding the Ultra Studio, will that work with Resolve on a MacBookPro for adding audio and video out ?

I think the Free version is fantastic for DOPs .
Also if its OpenCl based it means it runs on their laptops.
I dont think they gonna rival us, but they might play around and come with something we can start from.
But I agree, output should be limited to lowres QTsA slice of color…

Ok, that ATI card indicates you have a fairly old MacPro. I would guess a 3.1 from 2008.
You can either get the nVidia GT 120 from the Apple store for 149

Or go to ebay and shell out 350 for either an original GTX 285 or a modded 460.
The Gt120 will give you very little power.
Bother options should be used as secondary card, so you can keep the ATI as your primary UI card.A slice of color…
