Hi Dave,
good to hear from you again 🙂 We still need magic wands here in the Middle East, but for now I’ve that problem:
1.) I import the MAster Cleip (whole Tape) from mthe FCP folder ‘Capture Scratch’
2.) The footage was captured in FCP the right way and is interpretated good in AE – DV-Pal/Widescreen Progressive Field off
3.) When I set the quality in the QT Player to High, it looks in the QT as fine as in FCP
I will post ScreenShots now.

Yes, the Intepretation is on OFF concerning the Field Interpretation.
I toggled already the Aspect Ratio correction as well – it did help a bit – still looked much worse quality than in FCP.Really weird!

Thanx for all the advice!!! By the way – it is a DVX100B – but nevertheless – the EX1 or 3 is a lot better – it depends now, on how much money the final budget will be 😉

Unfortunately with an Israeli salary even that is out of my payment range and I have to stick to my Panasonic DVX100B for now, but for bigger jobs, for which I rent cameras, it is great to know, thanx!Technology moves at such a speed – you don’t dare to buy anything anymore…it might be worth nothing and outdated the next day, but this seems to be quiet some Step on the Moon!!!

And one more question: I also got recently into Color and manage it quiet well. But when it comes to the FX Room and the knowledge about the Nodes – that is a whole different Universe. Any idea, where I can find Tutorials about that? I really would like to know more about possibilities, tips and tricks in that Room.
