it is possible, If you choose export to SWF en choose rasterize all unsuported features.
But you wil end up with a very large SWF file.

i would say it’s better to export your file to an AVI or something and use a third party app. to convert to SWF (search google for “avi to swf” there are tons of programs for this.

you can also use the “FLV exporter” that comes with Flash MX once installed you wil find it under the export tab in AE.

not sure what kind of advice you are looking for but i think it helps your animation to let your motions ease in and out and to use a motion blur.

but there really is no “formula” to making it look professional this comes down to your skill as an artist

you need to point the effect to the footage you want to show left and right,

you do this in your effect controls window (F3) here you have two selection boxes one for left view and one for right view select your footage there and it wil show up.

for film noir especialy for lighting if you still need to shoot it i can recomend the book “painting with light” writen bij John Alton. he was a master in film noir techniques.

is your comp framerate 29.97 fps and did you interpet the footage the right way (setting the right field order and framerate)?

not that i know of but why don’t you scan a piece of paper and use that ase a background with a transfermode.
