could you please be a little more descriptive. i’m not sure what you mean by phase reverse.
also, we normally digitize our audio as embedded SDI. how would you do this in FCP or Soundtrack?

I had a similar problem. It seemed to be because I had saved some Boris Continuum Complete FX as Favorites. It didn’t like that for some reason.

We have had six BT-LH1700W for about a year now. They’re pretty good, however they do lean green. Now everyone says that if you properly calibrate it with an eye you can fix that. Of course I’m in NYC and we can’t find anyone to come do that for us. The waveform and split screen we never use, and the on screen audio monitoring doesn’t come with it. I think it’s a pretty good HD monitor for the price, but I still keep a CRT around to double check when something looks suspect on the LCD.
Didn’t E-Cinema announce something at NAB this year? JVC and Sony also have new models out now.

which bugs does this actually fix? i’m hoping it fixes the long render time bug.

Lets hope not. That is the best card that works in a G5.

I heard the reason why is because the actual SMPTE spec for HD does not include DF for 720p59.94. Also, DVCProHD (how FCP sidled into HD) doesn’t support it. So I guess that’s why it wasn’t in there from the beginning. Why it still hasn’t been added now that all the decks can do it, Avids can do it, and the networks request it is a mystery. I can only assume that the way the code was written it isn’t an easy change to make. But according to Walter who talked to an Apple Engineer at NAB it is coming in a FCP2 point upgrade.
