Thanks for the replies
I’ve had optical flow added in few deferent formats ( DV,HDV,HD) and in deferent ways (subject moving fast or slow, camera fixed or moving…) ..I always have the same result, the goest like behind the moving subject !!

thanks gary for the very important informations.
really happy to hear that.
thanks for you all -
thanks again rafael
I’ve always wanted to buy one of kona cards but i thought only SDI input would give me better quality than compressor, but if component would do the same, then I’ll go for it.
thanks very much -
thats what i needed to know.
thanks -
thanks Rafael
but I’m still not certain as my sony deck got firewire and component input and I’v read previously on this forum that a component will give me a very bad quality conversion, and thats why I need to know if possible to convert and export the HD file using Kona to the desktop and then import the SD file back to print to tape via firewire.
thanks
Does that make sense!! -

I’ll forget about the capture card then, cause my main reason is to convert full HD to SD and I can’t afford buying the 1500 deck with the kona card. I’ll stick to compressor, as it’s the only option left for me, and print to tape using my deck.
thanks very much -

Video input/output
RCA x 1 / RCA x 1
[1Vp-p , 75ohm unbalanced, sync negative
Sync signal : 0.286Vp-p (50i / NTSC) , 0.3Vp-p (60i / PAL)
Burst signal : 0.286Vp-p (50i / NTSC) , 0.3Vp-p (60i / PAL)
S-video input/output
Mini-DIN 4pin x 2
Y : 1Vp-p , 75ohm unbalanced, sync negative
Sync signal : 0.286Vp-p (60i / NTSC) , 0.3Vp-p (50i / PAL)
Chrominance signal : 0.286Vp-p (60i / NTSC),(burst, 75ohm) , 0.3Vp-p (50i / PAL),(burst, 75ohm)
Component video output
RCA pin x 3
Output at 480i NTSC
With[BETACAM] selected in [480i LEVEL] of the [IN/OUT REC] menu
Y : 1 Vp-p (0.286Vp-p sync negative, output impedance 75ohm unbalanced)
Pb / Cb / B-Y , Pr / Cr / R-Y : 0.7Vp-p (output impedance 75ohm unbalanced) (75% color bar with 7.5% IRE setup)
With[SMPTE] selected in [480i LEVEL] of the [IN/OUT REC] menu
Y : 1 Vp-p (0.3Vp-p sync negative, output impedance 75ohm unbalanced)
Pb / Cb/B-Y , Pr / Cr / R-Y : 0.7Vp-p (output impedance 75ohm unbalanced)(100% color bar with no setup)
Output with other settings
Y : 1 Vp-p (output impedance 75ohm unbalanced)
Pb / Cb / B-Y , Pr / Cr / R-Y : 0.7Vp-p (output impedance 75ohm unbalanced)(100% color bar with no setup)
480i / 480p :
Y : with 0.3Vp-p sync negative
1080i / 720p :
