  • I ran into the same problem with bringing an animation from After Effects to Resolve 16.2.1
Black edges arround text and logos.

I tried png, tiff, mov(animation) all with the same result.

Is it really possible that BM doesn´t adress this error for over a year???

My workflow is totally broke and i need to finish a project now.

    Thank you,

so the answer is i have to switch to the “Classic Stabilizer” in the tracker palette options.

Kind of confusing why it´s named “Classic Stabilizer” seems more like an advanced stabilizer menu.
Also there is no indication that you are currently in “Classic Stabilizer”. The palette has the same title “Stabilizer”.

Anyway i can now point track stabilize 🙂

    So, does this exit now?

  • Hello,

    was there a solution?

I have the same problem now.
First i have the options but after changing to sprite and back to sphere the options are greyed out.

    Hi,

rendering is a mess in Premiere & After Effects. New version of AME has new bugs.

Perhpaps the break up is caused by an effect.

A workaround before you get mad is to render an image sequence.
If rendering stops you can continue at the point where the rendering stopped.
At the end you can put together all image sequences to a new file. Rendering with AME or 3rd party freeware.

ps. you can also try to render direct from premiere, not using AME.
This helps e.g. with the recent lumetri bug.

September 7, 2015 at 7:07 pm in reply to: CS5 Source in/out points change timeline clips…??

This behaviour still exists in CC 2015.
If you draw a clip from the middle of the source monitor you can multiple paste different in-outs and draw them in the timeline.
If you draw from the little only-video-icon beneath the source monitor the in and out is the same for all the copies of the same clip in the timeline.
I don´t for whats that good? This is big source for screwing up edits if you change the in-out of one instance of the clip and the other gets also edited.

The rendered files are shorter. Only the length of the edit.
What is the workflow to get them back from Resolve to MC?

    Thank you very much Michael!
    The underscore does the trick!

Unfortunately i just ran into the next relinking problem.

I made some DNxHR UHD MXF files in Davinci Resolve,
which i want to relink to the editors timeline.

I opened the media tool and found the clips, dragged them into a new bin in the project.
Clips are in the folder c:/Avid Mediafiles/MXF/1
(i had to select “all projects” in media tool to find the files?)

    I tried several relink options.

Is there a problem with the duration? File type?

I am at my wit’s end.
