    Render codec?
    Frame size?
    Other plugins?
    Full output module info?
Did you try rendering with all effects off?
Did you try rendering with all layers off?
What else have you done to troubleshoot this, and what was the effect?

    Render Setting
    Best
    Full
    720×480
    No Proxies
    Current Setting
    Read Only

    Output Module: Lossless
How do I render with either effects or layers off?
I don’t have any experence with AF so I am kind of lossed in troubleshootin

Thanks, but I must be doing something wrong. I want to apply a particle effect only to my subject. When I use the pen tool I can isolate my subject but as soon as I apply the effect I lose my subject (image goes black) but I can see the effect. I don’t have any experience with AF. Any help would be appreciated
    Thanks

I tried Jason’s sugguesting using keyframes. My problem is the first time I click on the stopwatch I get a key, as I move down the timeline and click the stopwatch again it moves the first keyframe to the new location. What am I missing here? BTW I am using AF 6.5Pro
