Particle effect
I am trying to apply a particle effect to one person in a video. I have used the pen tool to trace the person. So far so good the person now appears on my new background.
As soon as I apply the particle effect, the person is no longer visible. The particles are but not the person. Am I missing something?

Most particle effects obliterate the layer they are applied to. You’ll need to apply it to a solid layer above the video layer.
