The Mocha Pro v5 plug-in DOES support both Adobe Premiere and After Effects as a plug-in. A huge benefit to this is a Premiere editors has access to Mocha tracking & masking w/out having to launch AE.
It is unclear why the plug-in is not installing into your Premiere folder. Do you have AE installed? You should not have to install twice, simply install the plug-in into your default Adobe CC plug-ins folder and it will show up in both AE & PR.
Hopefully you are not trying to install a cracked version. If you are still having issues, please contact Boris FX support.

For track drift, I would recommend first, retraction with higher % of pixels analyzed and make sure that you are only tracking areas that are moving on the same plane. Things like reflections and foreground occlusions can throw off a planar track.
If you have a decent track and want to correct some drift, this is exactly what the AdjustTrack module is designed for:

Looking at your project, it looks like you need to create some clean frames using the clean plate module and a paint package like Photoshop.
It does not appear that there is enough motion in the shot to get a remove, since the clean areas do not actually exist in the shot. Mocha uses temporal frames to find clean areas and replace, but if the shot does not contain a clean frame, the artist will have to feed it at least one clean plate frame.
This link will point you to a few videos showing the Mocha Pro Remove + Clean Plate workflow:

Hey James,
It sounds like you are confusing the embedded Mocha tracking and masking that is found inside Boris Continuum with the full Mocha Pro plug-in.If you launch “Mocha” from the PixelChooser in BCC filters, there is a lite version used to mask and isolate the effects inside BCC.
If you want to apply Mocha Pro, it is a separate plug-in and can be used for screen inserts, object removals, stabilize, etc. It is not found inside BCC filters, but in Mocha Pro by Imagineer Systems. See tut:

Very difficult to say without seeing the project. Maybe an obvious question but “are there definitely clean frames within the shot”?
The key to getting a good remove in Mocha Pro is having a good background planar track and there are usable temporal clean areas. If the foreground object that you are removing is passing in front of multiple planar areas, each area needs to be its own track layer.
You might want to share some images OR submit a support case to have someone look at the issue.

If the actor completely turns their head, there are multiple ways to handle:
You could mask the head on 1 mocha layer, but do not track the “un-trackable” portion where the rotation is close to 90 degrees. For example, you can track right up to this area, stop the tracker and advance to a frame where the head is now trackable, edit your shape to fit and continue tracking. So the major rotation would be manually keyframed.
Another method would be to break up the masking into 2 separate layers, one for each rotation. Different roto artists use different methods, sometimes depending on the length and speed of the shot.
While the AE Face Tracker and Mask Tracker are cool tools, you would run into similar issues when a head fully rotates.
I find the Mocha tools are a lot more “recoverable” when the tracking does not work and you need to resort to manually techniques. This video might be useful for some users that are unsure when to use Mocha and when to use the AE Mask Tracker: https://vimeo.com/114850269Hope that helps.

Sapphire Render Unit is now included as part of VP 15 Studio. Some very nice effects including Zap (Linting), Clouds, Night Sky, etc. More info on the filters is found here:

Does not sound familiar but I would suggest reporting to Imagineer Systems support team to help diagnose the issue:

Generally, you can use Mocha AE or Mocha Pro to do both the tracking and masking and it is quite robust compared to the Premiere mask face tracker.
Launch Mocha. Draw your spline and track. Export shape as “mocha shape for AE”. In AE, select your layer and “paste Mocha mask”.
This will convert your tracked Mocha mask to an AE mask. If you are running Mocha pro, this process will even work with Premiere.
