Happy to announce that the newest Mocha OFX plug-in (version 5.5.2) officially supports VEGAS Pro. Thanks to all the beta testers!

Mocha Pro for VEGAS adds advanced tools to the VEGAS Pro timeline:
    Planar tracking
    Match moves with lens correction
    Roto & Masking
    Object Removal
    Stabilization

Here is a new video from Mocha product manager, Martin Brennand.

This is probably the best thing Magix has done since the take over.
It looks like Boris and Magix will work together.

I am a long time user of Vegas, love it. But the one big drawback to it was the lack of motion tracking. Now with it’s ability to tie in with Boris (best software for tracking) I believe there will be far less limits on what I can do in Vegas.
This really puts doubt in my mind if I need to keep paying adobe fees just to have after effects.

    Great job Magix.
Post more tutorials on the integration, please.

I just downloaded the Mocha OFX plug-in (version 5.5.2). I ran the file, restarted my PC, and when I loaded VP15 and a created a new project. I inserted a short video clip, went to fx and selected witness protection. I clicked launch Mocha, the about states it is still 5.2.1. Am I doing something wrong? I own BCC 10 Complete for OFX.

    Hey James,
It sounds like you are confusing the embedded Mocha tracking and masking that is found inside Boris Continuum with the full Mocha Pro plug-in.

If you launch “Mocha” from the PixelChooser in BCC filters, there is a lite version used to mask and isolate the effects inside BCC.

If you want to apply Mocha Pro, it is a separate plug-in and can be used for screen inserts, object removals, stabilize, etc. It is not found inside BCC filters, but in Mocha Pro by Imagineer Systems. See tut:
