That’s what I was thinking as well…that it was some sort of a “wipe” effect.

I’m wondering if I can rotoscope it in mocha for AE, then bring it into AE? Or would that be overkill?

    Anyone?

    That’s cool.

It reminded me of the Dove Evolution video, found here:

    Actually, I figured it out!

I checked within the Quicktime option within Render As and there are A LOT of codecs available.

Some time ago I downloaded the Avid DNxHD codec, so that’s the one I’d probably use.

    Thanks.

I’ve been totally immersing myself in learning it for the past couple of months!

I’ve been going through tons of video tutorials on the VideoCopilot site that you mentioned in an earlier post!

    Thanks.

Thanks. Does Quicktime not do a lot of compression when rendered?

    Actually, I discovered something…hope it’s not a bug!

The “clip” I brought in originally was a .PNG sequence that I imported. It was a green screen sequence since I wanted to test the keying capabilities of HitFilm. That’s when I got the error.

But, I brought in a regular movie clip and was able to go into HitFilm from Vegas without any problem.

Can you not do image sequences?

Thanks, John for your input. I’ll download the free version.

I REALLY like the idea of integration with Sony Vegas. That way you don’t have to render, render, render every time you want to go between programs!

I’m confused on some of this as well.

Can someone explain to me in the Track Compressor dialog the following:

    1) What does Input Gain mean?

    2) What does Output Gain mean?

    3) If I take the Threshold to say, -24db, what does that do? Do that mean that whenever the sound level goes ABOVE -24db that it will compress (ie, lower) the sound? If so, is it the INPUT or OUTPUT level that determines when the sound gets compressed?

    4) What exactly does the Amount (x:1) mean? If I set it to 2 or 3, that means 2:1 or 3:1 of what?

Actually, I found a great article here.

I downloaded and ran Adwcleaner and that seemed to help.

    Thanks for all your input.

I ran a thorough scan with Malwarebytes and unfortunately, it’s still doing it.

Is there something else I can run, or something I should do within the browser? (I use Firefox.)
