Just Installed HitFilm Express…now getting error!
I just intalled HitFilm Express to start playing with it. I brought a clip onto the timeline in Vegas and then right-clicked on it, then selected the Add HitFilm Effect option.
I receive an error that reads “An error occurred during the current operation. The file could not be created.”
And yes, I already had SVP installed before installing HitFilm.
Any ideas?

Try a reboot. Vegas Pro is “officially” integrated with HitFilm Ultimate but people have been using Express with good results. I already have Ultimate so I can’t test it out for you.

Actually, I discovered something…hope it’s not a bug!
The “clip” I brought in originally was a .PNG sequence that I imported. It was a green screen sequence since I wanted to test the keying capabilities of HitFilm. That’s when I got the error.
But, I brought in a regular movie clip and was able to go into HitFilm from Vegas without any problem.
Can you not do image sequences?

You might have something there… I can’t imagine this working because an image sequence is not real media on the file system. Try rendering the image sequence to Sony MXF or CineForm and it will probably work. I’ll check later with I’m at my Windows workstation to see if it works with Ultimate.
