I have reinstalled 5 times when I was starting. At no time was I prompted to load the Content disc. I can’t believe that no one on this forum can tell me how to locate them and get them installed. I can’t use Encore without them as they include the menus and buttons. is their any detailed help out there for the disc version of installing?

The templates are for both Premiere and Encore. They are found in one of the drop down menus at the top of the screen but I can’t remember which. In Encore they have to do with menus and buttons.

The templates were never installed. I need to know where they are on the Content disc. As I said, all I see are a lot of PDF’s about general install of the program in several different languages.

OK, where on the content disc do I find what I am looking for. All I see are a bunch of PDF files in different languages that are no help at all. Can you give me the location of what I am looking for? Thanks.

I have the same problem sending a sequence to AME. I get two very thin black bars on the sides using the MPEG2-DVD preset. I don’t see the bars on playback as they seem to be hidden from the overscan. But still they should not be there. What gives?

We may be able to just mouse over the viewer or program window and use the wheel there to move frame by frame. That would be cool.

It looks like the audio tracks take either stereo or mono. That would be awesome.

I like your explanation. It makes sense to me and I will try to get better organized. Thanks for the detailed info. Can’t wait for NAB and the Abobe booth!

Very good points Walter. One problem with that is that whenever someone sends a new file or just a still that needs to be inserted into a program you have to store on another drive as well. While it does protect you it would seem to be a cataloging nightmare to find all the single files that are sent at different times. It would seem that I would be constantly running around trying to keep my backup drives organized instead of getting product out the door. Your system is safer but I can’t see how it is practical. Over time you could have several drives with clips from the same project and not know where anything was. How do you avoid this in your experience?
