Yeah, and what happens when the motherboard fails one day out of the manufacturer warranty? Come to the cow and b!tch and moan about how Apple won’t do anything, of course! :O)
Of course it’s worth it. You have to factor it into the retail price, as far as I’m concerned.

EDL’s are just text. As for project files, I’ve already exchanged and they’ve worked just fine, but you might have to update your project if it’s coming from a previous version (like 5.1.1 to 5.1.2, for instance).

What limitations does the download have? Is it a timed trial or does it watermark renders? I can’t find any info on the site, and am curious before installing it to try them out. Does anyone know?

Only the small (2, 4 GB) iPods have flash drives. My iPod Video has a small hard drive. You can actually feel it whirring away at times.
God I love my iPod.

Are you using a fresh new 5.1.2 project or did you update an existing one? You’re using 5.1.2?
Wow, I wasn’t even aware that copying and pasting preserved render files from sequence to sequence. I work mostly in RT, so I never came across that, and older versions didn’t do that, from what I remember. You always had to Nest.

Thanks for letting me know I’m not just experiencing pilot error.
Do you have an Intuos or Graphire tablet? One thing I do miss about the Graphire is the ability to trace directly on the tablet (by placing a sheet or whatever under the plastic cover).
I think Wacom recommends, with the Intuos, scanning the image, then tracing in photoshop. Haven’t tried that, yet, though.
