I have an 3d animated effect on my time line that im trying to speed up.I have the clip in slow motion, but im trying to speed it up a little bit. To my satisfaction. February 21, 2010 at 9:20 pm in reply to: CAN”T APPLY ACCELERATION TO 3D animated EFFECTWhat i mean is that, it doesnt change the curve. When i go to the effect editor and try to apply the acceleration effect. To speed up my animation, it doesn’t work.Every other effect in the effect editior works except for that one. I dont no what it is…..Do you have any suggestions?

December 1, 2009 at 10:38 pm in reply to: unable to capture via 1394 video from sony hdr fx1000well kieth,
i tried those settings and this is the message that popped up…(exceptioned: video signal present but not captured) i looked at my manual at page 66 and seen the part about 24p and 30p are converted to 60i format…..i dont kow what else to do, i just spent all this money on my camera and avid..and it seems like i cant even get started with my first project….it gots to be a way that i can capture videos..as complex as this camera is and as complex as avid is…its hard for me to believe that i cant capture my videos….this avid media composer 3.5 is the best software out, and wont even capture my videos….is there anything else i can do..are there other suggestions….because i starting to feel like i wasted my money…. -

December 1, 2009 at 2:33 am in reply to: unable to capture via 1394 video from sony hdr fx1000well kieth,
my camera is set at 24p at 1080i….so i set the software at 23.97/1080i, and the raster demension at 1440×1080. i tried setting avid at 24p but the video does not come into the source and record monitor. when i set avid at 24p it only gives me an option of 1920×1080 raster.. and the video doesnt come threw…. but when i set the software at 23.97/1080i and the raster demension at 1440×1080 the video comes threw. so i can mix the frame rates, but for some reason i cant capture……it keep saying the (source mob edit rate 24 does not match edit rate 30)…really need your help…. -
