You need to be on 10.8.2 Mountain Lion for OpenCL with ATI cards. If you want to continue with 10.6.8, NVIDIA card will work, but 10.6.8 is not a supported version anymore, but it it known to work still.

Make sure you have the optimized option in the video monitoring turned ON, and it will help a lot with the single GPU performance.

Do you have the Blackmagic Desktop Video drivers installed? You need that to use the 10-bit RGB codec.

Try enabling the optimized playback in the video monitoring section.

Hi Jake,

You lose your window cursors, etc on the SDI in this mode. Only during playback.

It’s probably a corrupt EDL. If you can post your EDL we can confirm that.

Hi Andrew,

The System Config setting is database specific, there is no global setting across all databases.

The System Config get copied over to User Config for all new users added within that database.

Can you upgrade to 9.1.1? It will use a disk database by default.

Please check the properties of the wave file you have vs the one extracted from Quicktime?

You need to have uncompressed 48 Khz wave file, 16/24/32 bit.
