Are you trying to open a wave file? I haven’t been able to open an AIFF in either Linux or Mac…

Is it a Broadcast or regular wave? Does it open in other software? What about creating a QT with the audio and extracting it in Resolve? Can you see the Wave file created that way?

Yes, quicktime. You can extract audio from a quicktime for use in resolve. Just wondering if you can see the audio created directly from Resolve. Also, what OS/Hardware are you running? Have you tried playing the wave file in different software yet?

    yes Arnold,
now by extracting audio by qt i can see and play and work by wave file, my os is windows7 .
is this the only way (extracting by qt) to see audio file in resolve ?
or there are other ways ?

    thanks in advances ‘

Please check the properties of the wave file you have vs the one extracted from Quicktime?

You need to have uncompressed 48 Khz wave file, 16/24/32 bit.

    my previous wave had 44100hz,16bit
    and qt extracted has 48000hz,32bit
so the formula is : uncompressed 48 Khz wave file, 16/24/32 bit ?
