Hi again, To clarify what I am trying to do………I want to lock my previously positioned markers to the video so that when I add a new clip of video to the timeline at the beginning (for example a new title sequence ) the existing markers move with the video and do not remain in their original place on the timeline. Appreciate your time in answering this.

    regards,

    Roger

    Hi,

I am having exactly this problem. I have set a whole host of chapter markers and editing markers on a time line. I now want to insert another piece of video but the markers do not move with the repositioned time line. I have tried the ripple marker button top right of the time line but to no effect. Please walk me through this. Thanks

    Dear Zane,

I think I have to be patient. I am using either the second internal drive of the Mac Pro or external 1 terrabyte La Cie’s.

    Cheers Roger
