After placing your jpg on your timeline, probably the first thing you’ll need to do is click the event pan/crop. Then right click and check the “match output aspect” option. From there you can size and move around your image anywhere you like or center it.

Don’t use the credit roll. It will jitter every time after you render it. That’s been my experience. I think you’ll find other posts on here about the credit roll too.
I just use the text tool to make the credits. Then I zoom out and then pan it bottom to top.

I’ve imported a group of still images and have set the “use custom timecode” box to 00:00:00:01 and the resulting video clip doesn’t seem any shorter than if I set it for 00:00:10:00.
What am I missing?

I had the old Magic Bullet but I haven’t installed it assuming it doesn’t work with Vegas10. Is that correct?

I use several cameras. Primarily a Sony Z1U.
But I use other much less expensive cameras as well such as the Sony XR520. I edit on a 42 inch monitor and I can’t tell any difference in quality despite what some might say.
