    Can you render any Project?

If yes, try to import your old Project into a new Project.

Does your Work Area Bar cover the stills you want to render?

When you want to render your Timeline Premiere Pro renders only the media that is covered by the Work Area Bar.

February 14, 2006 at 5:35 pm in reply to: Quick question about the Trim window

Medvezhonok, if you have a .avi on Video 1 and Audio 1 both audio and video will be trimmed, as you noticed.

But if you have Video 1 targeted and no audio targeted, only video will be trimmed, or vice versa, in the Trim Window.

To target tracks, use Ctrl++ or Ctrl+- for video and Ctrl+Shift++ or Ctrl+Shift+- for audio.

“Since, the new version is using docked panels, you can’t close each individual window with a short cut.”

Aanarav, if the Capture panel is undocked you can close it with a keyboard shortcut, Alt+F4. All floating, undocked panels can be closed with Alt+F4.

But why did Adobe change it from Ctrl+F4 to Alt+F4?

I have the same problem. The Alt key works most of the time, but not always. This is very irritating, especially when you cant set a shortcut to Project panel, etc.

I have the very same problems with PPro 1.x and do not have the same problem with any other Adobe apps, so this is a “PPro-error-only”.

The F10 key triggers the same thing as the Alt key but when the Alt key stops working the F10 dont respond anymore. (For example, F10+W+R brings the Project panel to focus.)
