    Hi guys!
Is there a way to do this, but have layers show exclusively?
As in, if I’m running this code on all layers, I also need to have it so only one layer shows at a time, and they never overlap.

    Possible?

    Hey guys!
I’m using this for a project I’m working on.
I just need to better understand it, so I can tweak.

The idea here is, there’s one creature with multiple different item sets and skins, and I need them to pop in and out but it needs to be an either/or thing, instead of them showing up overlapping each other.
It’s going to be a challenge thing where the user needs to pause it at the right moment with it looking exactly correct with a specific skin and item set.
If I just slap this expression on everything, I get this (attached).

    Hey all!
I’m trying to use this, and I’m getting a syntax error on line 6…

I’m guessing AE changed something, since this is old?

    Ok Jesus.
    After an entire day…
Found out how to make it work.

    – Downloaded Cineware from the Maxon website
    – Installed it
    – Opened After Effects, still not working
    – Checked the plugin options, saw version R22
    – Just out of curiosity, clicked “Browse”
    – Saw that there’s R22 and R23 installed
    – Pointed to R23 for both paths
    – Restarted AE
    – Purged all cache, as instructed by the plugin
    – It now WORKS.

    Phew.

Someone on reddit has the exact same problem, I thought I’d link the video here. This is exactly what’s happening with me.

Update: I’m now getting “Render failed” errors.

    Below it, I see “5070”.

    Help.

    I know, it’s kinda nuts.

Right, so I can’t make it a lot longer, because that’ll make the filesize quite large, and since I’m using this for streaming live, it’d put unnecessary CPU/GPU stress on my system because it’d make OBS use more resources to play it.

Is there another way for me to make each tile loop independently, that doesn’t involve wiggle?

Every other way I tried, makes them all move together which kills the effect I’m going for…

Right, the more RAM = more green thing makes sense.
So most of the stuff I’ve been doing is shape layers and masks, so there’s no raster stuff being done.
I’m ok with how long the exports are taking, because this beast of a CPU can do that while I play a game or do anything else on here really, including working on a different project.
I just really can’t sit and wait MINUTES while previews happen. And I’ve seen youtube tutorials where they have smooth flow (and no, it’s not edited or sped up).
Plugins like Saber for example… my God how heavy that one is.
Transfer speed can’t be it, I’m running everything on a Sabrent Rocket PCI 4 drive. This is why I got a X570 board.
The system is booting from a different SSD of course, but all the files and the cache are on the rocket…

But yeah I’ll look at the Puget site!
    Thanks
