I am getting that also. Are you using OS 10.4.5? This may be the problem.

Is there a way to re-install 10.4.4 or 10.4.3. I just downloaded both of them from the apple site and it would not let me install it on my hard drive, it said my system drive did not meet the requirements. Huh!

Actually, it was fine with DV material, but once I started an HDV 1080i sequence the troubles started.

No. This just started a few days ago. I guess I should re-install the previous version?

Thank you very much for this post. I am in a similar situation where I work for a large variety of clients, from DV to HD and everything in between. From weddings to sports banquets to corporate and broadcast. This variety has given me the ability to afford a great number of tools for my system and has kept me looking to the future for bigger and better things. In addition to the Kona 2 I just purchased the io LA and I love it and now can work for any client and in any format that is required.

Thanks for the advice. All things considered I think I’ll stick with the Kona 2, looking ahead to be able to handle SDI/HDI jobs. This Beta SP job just happened to be the first job with this new system. Thanks for the advice. I’ll keep learning.
