    I recently upgraded to OS 10.4.5 – huge mistake.

    I have had numerous crashes – I can no longer duplicate a sequence in the Browser.

    I’m running FCP 5.0.4 on a G5 – right now all my work is HD. Final Cut has become a very unstable editing system.

    Do not make the mistake I made by click install on 10.4.5.

    Have you:

    * Repaired permissions
    * Reset P-RAM
    * Trashed Final Cut Prefrences

    All things to try. Google any you don’t know how to do and you’ll find pages explaining each one.

    Thanks for the advice. Performed all that you had mentioned the problems are still there.

    Is reverting to an earlier OS a solution?
