Thank you, Tom and Francois. It seemed to be the 29.97 fps that choked my ol’Vegas 13. 24.9whatever is going down better.

Now for the next issue: When palying back footage from the camera in Vegas and in Windows, when using the in camera IBIS, very ugly “frame tearing” was visible whenever I panned or moved the camera. This was freaking me out since I have to shoot tomorrow. After many tests with and w/o camera and lens IBIS and with IBIS digital off, I finally tried to render a clip. TG, that did the trick — no horizontal tearing. What in the world is going on with this camera?

  • Thank you, Francois! I d/l’ed it and put it into the top video track but I am missing the right way to make it transparent. What do I need to do?

Thank you, Graham — you saved me again. The strange thing is I dont know how that was turned on all the tracks. Also, about 6 empty tracks were created below the active tracks. Any thoughts?

Thank you, George — I’ve been avoiding Premeire but so many clients ask for project files init that maybe it’s time I jumped in.

    Much appreciated!

Are you saying that both Avid and Prores depend on an ancient QT file to work on any platform?

No, didn’t work. Thanks, tho. I’m going to leave it to the client to fix this.
