I want the text full opacity, box across the screen lower opacity, and i want to mask it from the top 2/3rds so it doesn’t affect that portion’s luminance.

    Thank you,

Even when I have only one track selected and darkened, when I click on the circle with a slash button on that track, all the tracks respond.

I have clicked ctr U and checked the group status and there is no grouping. I have closed the program and reopened and it is in the same state.

Any ideas? Did I hit another button that causes this?

    Thanks for your help.

The clips were all on the same SP Beta tape that they has been edited to years ago. If some are shot 24 and some shot at 30, all were transferred to NTSC at 29.97 from the original film when produced.

I don’t know how that affects the Vegas TL now.

But that doesnt explain why some of the clips are fine and some arent.
