I just checked the original file in Realplayer and there is no noise, TG. I’, guessing its the EQ I used, but when I changed to default eq on a clip and rendered it out and played it on RP, the noise was still there.

Really? So sorry to hear that!

I applied the filter chain to the original entire clip but it did not stay on thru the bins, it seems.

Hi, Steve

I figured out that i have to see the blue evelop (?) line in the Trimmer before it will do a cut where indicated. I didnt see that in the Vegas help manual.

I found the problem in the Automation button and fixed the issue.

Thank you — I am putting some of your advice to good use!

I have a bug that is arising more often with the track: when i click the “Make invisible”button on any track, they all go dark. I fixed this the first time by restarting. Is there a better way?

LOL I think I get it now :). How much RAM (please dont say as much as possible) is advisable for a good Vegas system, what kind of graphics board, and what kind of processor — quad, speed, etc?

I appreciate your help — i’m a noob when it comes to the tech side of editing. Is there a well-written book for Vegas?
