  • I’m pretty sure it’s not just me, because I have three Mac Pros here, with different specs, and they all presents the same problem.

The comp view is real time in CC 2014 but very laggy in CC 2015. Even Photoshop 2015 does this. It takes a while to load the image before dragging (hand tool) and zooming.

I’m just wondering why I can not find anyone else talking about it.

Perhaps this problem is with multi-displays configs?

    Really, really nice!

I was waiting for this for a long time!

Going to test it right now.

    Tks so much!

  • Here are the results with the Adobe officially supported cards on a Mac:

    GTX 285 – 28:47

    Quadro 4000 – 18:04

    A kind of joke lol… =P

Please, can you guys explain me how are you giving results with GTX 480/680/690 cards on a mac?

I need some references, because I’m definitely changing my cards!

    Thanks!

October 17, 2012 at 9:22 am in reply to: Reduce Project in CS6

Wohooo… I noticed today that the “Reduce Project” back to work as expected! So I thought it might be related to the new 11.0.2 update. Well, it is! Here is the notes:

    After Effects CS6 (11.0.2) update
    bugs fixed in this update

  • In After Effects CS6 (11.0.0 and 11.0.1), Reduce Project would retain any composition that had ever been referred to by the selected composition in an expression, even if that reference had since been removed. The change in After Effects CS6 (11.0.2) returns the behavior of Reduce Project to that of After Effects CS5.5 and earlier.
  • So if you need to fix this issue, just go for this update, and everything backs to normal!

    Cya!

I have exactly the same issue. I can’t figure out why the “Reduce Project” feature in CS6 doesn’t do the job. Many, many nothing to do comps still on project and it doesn’t make sense!

    In CS5, it works flawlessly.

  • Hi Erik, I’m already with CS6 because I’m a happier member of creative cloud! XD

Thanks for the tips! I will take a look, but I’m not sure it will solves my issues.

According to Todd there’s no changes in CS6 shortcuts, just adds, so what is the point with the Shift+EE? I already noticed other troubles, like the the “shift” navigation between comps, sometimes I have to tap about 10x the shift key until it shows the navigation menu, no, serious.

Someone else is having these problems?

  • Hi there! I’m on the new AE CS6 and Mac Lion, and the Shift+EE isn’t working anymore, it hides all the effects only.
    Something changed?

I tried it here, right now, and the problem persists…
But this time, the AE doesn’t hide but the windows are behind all the other applications.

Same here. Lion 10.7.2 with CS 5.5.

And sometimes, the windows stay on top of any other application. Really weird.
