Thank you, Alex, that’s a helpful tool.
Here’s how I’ve found it works. . .
Select a clip in the timeline with in/out, make subclip.
Select a clip in the source monitor and make subclip.
On OK, it automatically makes a subclip in the main project folder, which I can them move to an “Outs” bin.
I’m not finding a way to save the subclip with my in/out points marked.
If I unselect “Restrict Times to Boundaries” it saves the whole clip with no record of my in/out points. I’m not able to add markers to the source clip or the timeline that are saved with the subclip.
If I do select “Restrict Times” it only saves the part of the clip between in/out.
Maybe I’m missing something, but this is indeed a way to save timeline clips to a bin, if not with the marker information.
