Then use BMD DV PAL squence outputing to betacam or
use native premiere DV sequence and export to DV tape (be sure to turn off Mercury GPU Acceleration).PS: BMD support responded with: “known issue”.

Are U sure that CS3 is still supported in new drivers? 7.6.4 “readme” documents suggest that CS3 is abandoned. Am I wrong?

OMG! Is this true? Reading this:

AFAIK AE RAM preview doesn’t generate interlaced fields.
To get fields You have to render composition using settings with field render upper/lower on.Robert Falkowski – http://www.mmstudio.com.pl

>I downloaded the Mini Converters Software from Blackmagi’s website and installed it, and I updated the sync generator firmware.
The question is why to use firmware update on such a “dumb” device as a BMD Sync Generator with dip switches(?) To update SG to new formats (beyond 8 labeled on device).
It seams that new firmware = new formats for BMD SG. Ok! But to find info about dip switches positions for new formats? What formats? 😉
Or… Maybe I am missing something?BTW: My BMD MB Pro(ver1) control panel ALWAYS shows: “Reference input not detected” if I work with SD PAL (or with HD to SD PAL BMD down conversion).
When I set PPro project to any HD res then input panel ALWAYS shows: “Reference input connected”.
Both observations with SG (no matter what video format set on SG dip switches) or without it.
Well, maybe I just do not understand what this information means :/Robert Falkowski – http://www.mmstudio.com.pl

Hello!
I can confirm this problem. Export button triggers “Edit mode” light on vtr but nothing more. After few seconds ETT requester reappears and then (usually) export to tape runs ok. Sometimes ETT works ok first time (but sometimes U have to rerun it few times) so actually it is necessary to input IN timecode again and again and again… Heh, copy and paste does not work in ETT requester somehow.Robert Falkowski – http://www.mmstudio.com.pl

Did U try scrubbing while holding “Shift” key?

August 2, 2007 at 6:34 pm in reply to: BMD- timelines are extremly slow with an intel quadcoreI see similar PPro behavior on C2D. CS3 Using DV codec = full speed. CS3 using BMD codec = only 1 CPU working on render. On PPro2 it the same for both codecs. No mp rendering.
Just dropped idea to build new QCore machine for BMD Multibridge Pro :/
Any comments from support? PPro or driver fault?Robert Falkowski
