I’m hoping someone can shed some light..

When Exporting to tape (SONY DIGIBETA via Decklink SDI) from PPro2 I often get a situation where I enter the in/out points, etc in the ETT panel, then hit export and it pauses and then the ETT window pops back up with nothing entered/exported. I’ll set it up to go again and it’ll work fine..other times it’ll keep cycling through this until I have to restart PPro or reboot my PC before it’ll work.

Not ideal working conditions! Can anyone tell for my symptoms if this is a PPro problem or Blackmagic?

    Thanks,
    Jim.

    Hello!
I can confirm this problem. Export button triggers “Edit mode” light on vtr but nothing more. After few seconds ETT requester reappears and then (usually) export to tape runs ok. Sometimes ETT works ok first time (but sometimes U have to rerun it few times) so actually it is necessary to input IN timecode again and again and again… Heh, copy and paste does not work in ETT requester somehow.
